Made from 4 different fabrics, the materials are matched to the motion of the pedalling leg. These are an evolution of our near perfect ThermoRoubaix leg warmers. They now utilise soft grippers and are windproof. The ThermoAir treatment to the Fabrics during manufacture leave them very breathable and mean they are 30% to 50% faster to dry than regular Roubaix materials.
With shaped left and right legs for comfort, the seams are positioned to the side of the leg to prevent chafing. The zipped lower leg with an internal zip seal is placed at the ankle to leave the achilles undisturbed. The leg warmers have a 20mm silicone gripper top and 10mm bottom to hold them securely in place. The leg warmers are finished with reflective zip cover and galibier logo for visibility.

Perfect for temps down to 4/5°C, really comfortable, warm and stay in place.
However I’m leaving just 3 stars as the top of my right leg warmer has a burr along the edge of the fabric which left a couple of inch-long incisions across my thigh. After feeling a scratching sensation in that spot during a 5-hour ride, I took off my bib shorts and the Ardennes leg warms to discover the cut!
In order to continue using them I’ve resorted to using scissors to trim down the edge, although on my second ride with them I returned with a further cut – further alterations are required!

Got these to replace a pair that Nora Batty would have been ashamed of, falling down repeatedly. Staying up is a key function for keg warmers and these do it perfectly without being tight. Large is right for me (31″ inside leg and fairly bulky thighs). So nice to forget about a piece of kit because it just works.
First ride 6-8 degrees, legs felt exactly the right temperature.

Have used the Ardennes II legwarmers for a few rides now.
Don’t doubt the quality of these because of the low price.
I’ve been very impressed with the quality and fit. Very comfortable with no bunching or wrinkling of the fabric.
A fair bit warmer than expected too, and offer a fair degree of wind proofing. They are noticeably warmer than the shorts I usually pair them with.
Perhaps it would be a good idea for Galibier to bring out a thicker pair of short specifically designed to be worn with these warmers. Would make a very versatile system.

Amazing quality. I ordered a small but when I put them on I thought they were too big for me. They were spot on its the material is so soft and comfortable you hardly know they are there. It has been around 1 degree celsius with a wind chill of -2 and got some light rain on another cold day during the weekend and was nice and warm with these. The design at the back of the knee is class.

Love these leg warmers, worn them with my shorts down to 5 degrees and they’re surprisingly warm. I’m 6ft 1 with a 32 inch leg and the medium is perfect. They’re very well made and do not restrict movement at all. Would definitely recommend.

I struggle with overheating when wearing 3/4 shorts or tights and decided to try a pair of leg warmers. Definitely no regrets with this purchase! Well made and warm in col temperatures but enough circulation to not overheat when temperatures start to rise. The gripper prevents them slipping and the zip at the bottom is so handy and stops the need to overstretch the material when putting on/taking off. Also roll up nickel to fit in my Jersey pocket. Really great product.

Well made and warm with no bunching, my XL warmers are a perfect length but quite loose on the thighs – no compression here! This is not a problem, however, as the grippers do their job. How about some shorts made with this material for the cooler rides Galibier?

These are really good leg warmers, great fit (Size L – 5ft10, 80kg), high quality, and excellent value. Perform just as they should, grippers work well and look good on the bike too. Keep the legs warm down to around 5-6*C then I opt for full bib tights.

I bought these at the same time as the Ardennes Arm Warmers. Again the fit is close and feels tight & restrictive when you first put them on but soon goes away when riding and doesn’t impede on your riding style. If I’m being slightly picky the silicon gripper at the top of the leg can ‘pinch’ any remaining leg hair though it’s not too off putting. They are really nice and warm but do not seem to overheat when the temperature climbs after a cool start. Again, and I would say this about other Leg Warmers I have bought, the reflective logo’s/trim could do with being higher up on the Leg so they don’t get covered up by oversocks or overshoes. Otherwise a quality product and I can see myself buying more from Galibier.

As a reference for others who may have an oddball build like mine. I have thicker thighs and calves and usually wear 30″ denim. I need to buy loose fit or athletic fit when buying jeans. The medium I ordered is the best compromise. I would have preferred the length of a small but the width of a large.
Standard shipping to Vancouver from Galibier usually takes 2 weeks including customs delay. This is reasonable

Put them on, ride, enjoy.
Had them on for nearly 12 hours at the weekend, and didn’t notice them one bit.
Kept me warm (and therefore happy) on a gruelling ride.

Excellent piece(s) of kit, great fit with the shaped back of knee section. No problems with staying in place due to silicone strip and lycra ‘cuff’. Small, but good point is R & L tag to avoid putting them on wrong leg, haven’t seen that on other legwarmers. Warm enough for cold’ish days, haven’t tested them out in very cold days yet but I’m sure will be fine with Roubaix fabric. Well worth getting a pair or two.

Bought these in the shorts package. First ride over two hours in 4 degrees and kept legs nice and warm. Nice snug fit and look and feel like top quality items. Really comfortable to wear and if above freezing no need for bibtights if you have these. Very impressed with service too.

A really well thought out design of these legwarmers. Both the shaped back of knee and sealed zip section at the ankle are great features. Comfort of these is second to none, in fact I’d go as far as to say better than my more expensive Sportful ones. Definitely designed for the longer legged cyclist, the fit is just right for me. I have the XL, and they fit my rather large thighs and calves like a glove (well, like a legwarmer, actually!!).
Once again, great quality kit at a great price from a great company. As others have said previously, why did i not discover Galibier before spending much more on cycling clothing elsewhere. They are fast becoming my go-to company for great performance clothing!
