Ardennes Noir Sock

(12 customer reviews)

  • GBP: £5.90
  • EUR: €7.08

A tall, black cycling sock to keep your feet breathing and protected.

Our Ardennes socks are the perfect mid-season sock. Slightly thicker footbed than a summer sock and super durable. Ready for summer and as many 30 degree machine washes as you can throw at them. Black sock with grey logo.

The heel and toe, areas of high wear, are constructed from a durable fabric, while the footbed uses a lightweight yarn that wicks sweat away from the skin.

Pro performance socks for cyclocross racing, in an extra long length for style and warmth.

Brilliant socks. I suffer with lymphadema and have to be careful of socks as they can cut in to my leg and make it swell, but these with their wide cuff and excellent soft fabric never cause me a problem. I’ve got a few different colours now, and I used them every day when I did the 980 miles Deloitte Ride across Britain last month and my feet never caused me a problem so can recommend these for anything!

Have a few pairs, black and white. Perfect all spring and summer. Not tried them in cold weather

  3. William (verified owner)

Superb socks. Great wicking, sizing spot on, very comfortable, and in my order with some other kit they threw in another pair in white. So I can be perfectly colour coordinated at all times. Highly recommended – as other reviews have noted they cover a range of temperatures and I’ve worn from 8C with toe caps up to 18C, all perfectly comfortable and mega breathable. I will be buying more.

Honestly best socks I’ve ever worn, they are extremely comfortable great fit and a third of the cost of most other cycling socks on the market

I got a pair of these great socks for free with a return.
I hadn’t had a chance to sue them as the weather I felt had been to hot.
Anyway as the weather changed this first weekend in early June, it was the perfect chance to see if they were any good in the cooler late teen temps, they were and i was pleasantly surprised.
I suffer with very sweaty feet so I have the thinnest of summer socks, so these I thought would be perfect if they breathed well as my new cooler temp socks rather than the thin ones with toe covers.
The foot bed is very comfy and didn’t make my feet get warm at all which i was worried about. The very breathable front part of the socks certainly helped with air and moisture management.
yet again another cracking product from Galibier.

Perfect mid weight sock. Great length. I bought two pairs last year and have just bought another two pairs. Also great for xc skiing.

    Love wearing these, very comfortable.

  10. Stevo M

Superb socks, tall which looks pro and a softer feel than most of the proper cycling socks that can be hard to get on and off. Despite a bit of thickness these feel comfortable in warmer weather and definitely perform better than some socks I’ve bought at twice the price. Going to order another pair as tend to want to just use these now! Great price too.

As usual, fabulous quality at a fabulous price from the Galibier crew. These socks are super-comfortable and understated. They even made me look stylish as I quickly degenerated into a dribbling mess on . . . the Galibier.

Great socks with a very soft and lightweight finish. Worn with summer shoes and overshoes at 5°C and they were probably on their limit. Great for British spring/autumn as they cover the usual British range of temperatures.
