Experience the Colombière Pro, an evolved lightweight version of our standard insulated jacket. Designed for both athletic performance and casual wear, it strikes the perfect balance between functionality and style.
This jacket boasts 100% recycled synthetic insulation, offering optimal warmth without adding weight. Thanks to its unique weave, you get all the insulation benefits in a noticeably lighter garment. To enhance its utility, we’ve treated the main fabric with a water-repellent (DWR) finish, perfect for those unexpected drizzles.
Functional features like removable zip-off hood, zipped inseam front hand pockets, and elasticated cuffs, waist, and high neck ensure you remain comfortable and protected against the elements. Whether you’re cycling in 10°C or braving temperatures below freezing, the Colombière Pro has got you covered. Want it snug for active days? Pair it with a base layer. Need it cozy for relaxed outdoors? Add a mid-layer.
The fit is sleek yet allows room for layering. We’ve incorporated Roubaix fabric panels for an enhanced fit and thermo-regulation, suitable both for cycling and leisure. And for those moments when you’re reaching for something at the back of your fridge or placing a bike on your shoulder, the jacket’s design offers an impressive range of motion.
The 50gm insulation, sandwiched between lightweight woven nylon fabrics, ensures swift drying while maintaining an ideal warmth-to-weight ratio. For those who value visibility without compromising weight or packability, reflective features on the chest zip and rear panel are thoughtfully added. If you’re looking to travel even lighter, the zip-off hood comes with a central closure system, making it easy to remove.
Inspired by the Col de la Colombière, a renowned mountain pass in the French Alps, this jacket is your go-to for protection throughout the year. While you might not be bound by French law to wear this jacket, it’s undoubtedly one of the best choices for protection.

Wore this on my -2 degree commute this morning with just a standard base layer underneath and I was plenty warm enough. I had previously used it at just into double figures and was a bit sweaty (but I do run warm) However, this morning it was just awesome, and love the side pockets for phone etc on a ride. Everything is just so well thought through and for the price its a winter ride no-brainer…I’m 6ft 2 and 38” chest and the medium is a perfect fit, not tight and not baggy

My go to jacket for the pub, it’s light but really warm and plenty of pocket space for phone etc

Bought this for commutes and short winter casual rides, Great bit of kit as always. Found that it is a just a great jacket for casual wear and general winter use. Really useful if you’re nipping out on your bike and need to be seen as you can reverse it whilst staying very warm and dry but look good too.

My wife bought me the XL version of this jacket, having bought the Izoard Quilted Gilet last year (szL) and it fits me perfectly as I wear this more as a recreational jacket rather cycling, hence the larger size. It is warm, stylish and I have had several comments on the fit as being tall and lean, I often struggle to find the right sizing. this is another superb purchase from Galibier, yet it comes as no surprise as everything I have ever bought from has been equally impressive!

Have had the 1st gen of this jacket for just over a year now and it has been getting worn so much – usually for short spins on the bike (over and back on the school run, down to the beach for a swim), out for walks. Have to remind myself to wash it once in a while. Cosy and not bulky or sweaty. Was tempted to get the new version as I like the stitching detail, but have run out of coathooks…

I’m 5’ 7” 65k and M fits perfectly. Very warm and comfortable to wear and excellent value. Some other brands winter jackets at twice the price aren’t half as good!

Great jacket, ok with just a short sleeve base layer till around 2-3 degrees and then with long sleeve’s when colder, fits nicely and can’t believe how warm it is considering how light the jacket feels. Also looks great and very useful that you can wear it reversible with the orange colour on dark grey days
