Optimized for summer wear, our Base Layer is designed with the AirMesh fabric, a perforated performance polyester that regulates body temperature year-round. In summer, it effectively wicks away moisture, providing a cooling effect, while in winter it offers insulation. Its ergonomic fit is close to the skin, designed longer at the back and raised at the front, ensuring optimal comfort while cycling.
Seams with flatlock stitching prevent chafing, while the fabric’s odor resistance, excellent moisture wicking, and thermoregulation properties ensure you stay fresh and dry. Even on warm days, our base layer aids in maintaining a consistent temperature between your skin and the garment, promoting quick evaporation for cooling. For peak performance, especially during long descents, avoid ultra light summer jerseys that can become saturated and sit wet on the skin.
The ‘Spirit of Tailwinds” printed, high up on your back, may (*citation needed) be an ever present push, an extra 20 W of mystical force provided into your pedals. Extra power to get through even the hardest ride. At the very least it will wick away sweat leaving you feeling dry and happy for seasons to come.

I’m 6′ but slightly long torso proportionately, 42″ chest. XL a good fit, maybe just a shade less than skin tight in a few places as I move. Not very stretchy so that helps when taking it off It’s also long enough to tuck in which I prefer.
Wicks great, doesn’t absorb and material seems hard wearing look brand new after a couple months use.

Absolutely brilliant baselayer.The medium fits my 37.5 inch(96cm) chest perfectly and the design is really cool too,shame it’s hidden by a jersey/jacket.As usual with Galibier it’s well made and priced fairly.
Just ordered another as my son has “borrowed” the first one!

excellent base layer. in size L the chest is a good fit but the length is a bit short for me. I might try the XL in future but I hope Galibier will add a few cm to this garment to make it a perfect fit!

Brilliant base layer, now have 2 and simply interchange them daily. I’m between a medium and large at 71kg, 186cm tall and 102cm chest. Have one in each size medium and large and both work but prefer large as it’s a bit longer.
Wick superbly, multiple washes and look brand new. Awesome value for money.

I like the fabric and design, but the same size (XXL) was around 1.5 inches shorter in the body than the long sleeved version, so I had to return it as it didn’t fit, sadly. The website says the XL versions are both 75cm, so I expected them to be the same — it doesn’t actually list the length for XXL, but since all the other sizes were the same I would have expected them to be too.

Come on Galibier!!! Please increase your pricing to stop me feeling guilty . Your products are superb , my base layer arrived this morning in Xl , I’m 6ft2” 88 kg 42/44 chest , fits perfectly. If you are umming and arghhing over buying one do not worry . Buy it , it is brilliant I love it
