First off, it’s orange. And I mean bright ORANGE! Fantastic for those dull days when you want to be seen by other road users. Fitwise, I’m a big unit at 95kg. I wear an XL Grand Tour jacket and went for an XL in this. It’s close fitting, but not restrictive and I’ll probably have to trim an inch from the ends of the sleeves. Otherwise it’s a good fit. When I first wore it, the rear pockets felt shallow and I thought my phone might fall out while I was riding. Turned out to be a false worry – the pockets are plenty deep enough and are really well placed, which means I can reach them without being double jointed. The storm collar is a nice touch too. I was comfortable wearing it with a sleeveless mesh base layer and the fabric kept me dry through a light shower.

I went out for my first ride in this jacket over the weekend. It was a about 8 degrees with a stiff breeze and with a vest on underneath I was very comfortable, even as it got warmer. The extended collar height is great and adds to overall comfort in cooler weather. As it was a slightly misty start I like the fact that it comes in a bright colour too.
Im 5’9 with 48″ chest and the XXXL is a nice comfy fit.

This is my 2nd (but definitely not my last purchase from Galibier) I bought this jacket on the back of buying and loving the lIzoard PRO Gilet – XL.
These clothes are superbly made, and are really helping keep winter rides in NE England on the coast much more comfy and not letting me talk myself out of a cold winter ride.
I went with the XXL in this jacket as I wanted some space for layering underneath, I am 5’9″ waist 36″ and chest 42″, and this is about as snug as I like jackets to be, have ridden about 30 miles in total- both windy and drizzly rides, temp from 5-7 degrees about a week apart after being ill, this works so well at keeping me warm (but not hot), the side panels are great and you can feel them move and flex as you ride , also the rear flap stays in place , which many other jackets I’ve had ride up and expose your inner layers to the dreaded wet off the back tyre! Excellent build quality and this will be my goto jacket for all my rides throughout the winter, love the colour too and let’s me be seen on the roads at night and in poor weather. Love the ease of the zipper top for adjusting as you ride and the collar height is great for keeping you warm. In this time of ever increasing costs, this jacket is a steal at this price , nothing I’ve tried in the price point comes close. Thank guys you really have got me back on the saddle after my bike mojo went into hibernation!

Great fit, looks good and feels great quality. Wore on the weekend for a short ride coming back from illness and comfortable in ~5 degrees with a warm, long-sleeve base. There was some sun and low wind so can’t comment on v cold conditions but expect I’ll need another layer/gilet. Size L for me, 6’3″ with 40″ chest and 33″ waist was just right – fits close but not shrink wrapped.
