Experience the perfect balance between weather protection and breathability with our Sentinel GT, a pioneering entry in our GrandTour range. Designed specifically for spring and autumn training, this jersey caters to riders determined to conquer any weather.
Rather than resorting to traditional dense fabrics for wind resistance, we collaborated with our fabric partner to innovate. Through the ‘Pressure Weave’ process, the fabric is shrunk post-weaving using steam-pressure. This not only results in a highly adaptable and dense material but also ensures unparalleled breathability. Once the DWR treatment is added, the outcome is a high-performance fabric perfect for challenging weather conditions.
Whether you’re cycling under overcast skies, with arm warmers, or using it as a base layer, the Sentinel GT ensures optimal performance.

Mark’s Experience: “Being a 34 waist and 42 chest, I found the XL size to fit exceptionally well.”
If you’re on the cusp of two sizes, it’s best to opt for the larger one, keeping in mind the race-fit design and intended light base layer.
Care Instructions: To maintain the high performance and longevity of your Galibier gear, follow these care guidelines:
- Always consult the care label before washing.
- Ensure all zips and Velcro fasteners are closed and turn the garment inside out.
- Hand wash or machine wash on a lukewarm permanent press cycle (max 30°C / 86°F).
- Use only a mild liquid or powder detergent. Avoid products with fabric softeners, conditioners, stain removers, or bleach.
- Let the garment air dry. Avoid tumble drying.

It definitely works great as a mid-season layer! Great wind isolation, good brething. Great work!

First run out in the GT today. 10c but felt like 7 in the strong wind. Didn’t feel it at all on my torso and upper arms, collar sits nice and high so no issue there, Hands were cold as I chose wrong gloves, but the body stayed perfectly warm throughout. Worn with just a thin SS base layer underneath, and teamed up with Galibiers Roubaix bib shorts, this is a fantastic garment.
I’m a 46” chest, 36” waist and the 3XL is spot on around shoulders and chest.
Excellent service as ever, speedy delivery.
A great addition to my growing Galibier collection!

This is a lovely piece of kit. Fabrication is high quality, and it feels a bit like a lighter short sleeve version of the Mistral Foul Weather – which from me is outside indeed. I haven’t had a chance to wear it in anger just yet as am recovering from sickness, but I’m pretty confident it’ll perform. It’s a very similar fit to the Mistral (current version – older ones were slightly more relaxed) and similar to previous reviewer, I’m 34/36″ waist and the XL is spot on.
The 5 stars also go to Galibier’s brilliant customer service. My original order went awry in the post, and they sent a replacement straight away with no quibbles

Quick delivery. Landed today and wore it tonight for our club ride with the arm warmers. Brilliant bit of kit, windproof and warm. I’m 34/36″ waist depending how much I breath in and 42″ chest XL is perfect. Thanks Galibier

First proper test done. A long Audax over two days, changeable weather, sun, wind, rain & night riding. Eventually had to put a waterproof on in the rain, otherwise spot on. Possibly to warm, but easily unzipped.
Ordered a large. Could possibly of gotten a medium. 33” waist, 5’11”. The large at least allows me to layer up underneath in the shoulder seasons, extending its value.
