I had no clue on what to expect from this item, I have ordered based on look. Someone was mentioning that is neither a jacket not a jersey and he was right. Let me further elaborate. Front of the item is made of a wind proof fabric, soft shell type of fabric and is noisy when moving around. Arms and back of the item are made out of a breathable jersey like fabric and the back stripes running from arm pits to lower part of the item are made from a thinner jersey like fabric. I am 190-191 cm tall, 100 cm chest and something like 90 cm waist and skinny arms. I went with size XL and is fine in the chest, fits over a merino base-layer, sleeves are tight but still fine. Not sure if I can fit this over a long sleeve base-layer and I kind of struggle zipping this at the waist.
The quality of the fabrics is nice, nothing to complain about. I also like that some effort was put into making the jersey as symmetrical as possible, how is sewn on left is mirrored to the right, stripes are aligned between sleeves and rear, also stripes meet at identical height, etc. I would say is 95% perfect.
The zippers are kind of meh, front zipper is YKK but feels cheap, rear pocket is a different brand but also feels cheap. Also no pull tab on the front zipper.
Probably I will wear this as a jersey for temperatures around 15-20C, with or without a base-layer, need to further test.
In few words, 3/5 because of sizing at waist and arms and also cheap zippers.

This one wasn’t for me. I found it to be neither a jacket nor a jersey to the extent that I couldn’t see when I would wear it. I found the fit to be ideal in the arms (and length) but that left a lot of billowing around the chest area. Going down a size would have been too tight on the arms.
Overall I didn’t find the overall quality of the jersey/jacket to be on a par with similar items from Galibier in the same price range (or lower).
The black and white version looks superb though. Might reconsider if it ever goes into clearance. Reinvested in an excellent Tourmalet 3 though and I am very happy.

Absolute joy to ride in this jacket. Today, Jan 1, was the first ride as it was not winter but spring with double digit temperatures. An excellent opportunity to use this jacket. It has indeed very snug sleeves – perfect for my lengthy but thin arms. I am 1.84m and 75kgs, with rather long torso and stumpy legs. Size L is perfect for me

Great piece of kit.
Remember this is race fit. If used to a more casual fit then you might want to size up.

Quality made jersey/jacket as you would expect from this company. I had to go a size up. I have 5 other items from Galibier for my upper part of my body and they’re all in size large. I had to send back the large for an XL. Really tight fitting item. I am just over 12st, 41 chest and 32 waist. The XL fits so snug on the arms that I will be lucky to get the base layer on underneath (when the weather comes)all in all another decent item for a very little money.
