There are many reasons we return to wool season after season. Naturally breathable, moisture wicking, and odour resistant, merino is an amazing material, which is why we’ve blended it once again into our Essential Merino Jersey. Combining these inherent properties with the better fit and shape retention of more technical fibres.  Produced using our unique blend of Superfine Merino Wool to create a performance jersey that is highly breathable, temperature regulating and odour resistant.
This blend of fibres provides warmth in cold conditions and cooling in warmer weather while protecting from harmful UV rays with a rating of 50+ UPF. Merino wool is 100% natural and therefore sustainable and biodegradable.

Care Instructions:
- If you must machine wash, do so on on a low to medium heat (30 degrees) on a cold cycle or use a wool wash/delicates option if available. High Temp will shrink the garment.
- Do wash inside out. This will help prevent bobbling but the constant fabrics rubbing together on a one hour+ cycle abrades the fabric into balls and create the bobbling.
- Like all technical garments hand washing extends the life.
- Do not bleach, dry clean, tumble dry, or iron

I ordered one of these specifically to wear for autumnal riding and man does it deliver. I’ve worn this over some bibs for gravel riding and it’s been the perfect mix of warmth while staying breathable for when I start climbing. I’ve ridden through some tight spots and gotten caught on some branches but the merino seems to be holding up well. At this rate I might need to order a second Layer 1 so I can use them even more. I sized down from my Galiber jacket size to a Large and the fit is perfect for wearing as a slightly looser fit jersey but will also be great during the colder months under my Mistral Pro. I’m 195cm, 90kg
