Sizing guide
The garment is designed to be neat fitting and only requires a thin base layer next to the skin. These are new generation fabrics, so we need to reconsider how we dress for conditions. This requires no extra layering in wind or rain. If you want a looser fit or plan to wear more garments underneath, please size up.

I own a Sentinel jersey and despite a few wee niggles on the finish I really love the fabric and always wanted a mistral. I nearly never bought one as wasn’t into the colours but glad I did, this jacket fills a gap in my cycling wardrobe and will see a lot of use. It copes with a wide range of temps, only a base layer and summer jersey under it in 4c, base later only in 10c… kept me dry in heavy rain too. I feel a bit clammy with my Tempest waterproof over a winter jersey from another brand, this is a better solution to the bad weather which seems to be 80 percent of Scottish rides. Buy one, you won’t regret it. I’m slim to average cyclist build, 36 chest, 32 waist (in winter lol) and M fits well, neat but not tight, slightly loose arms and length in body just about OK, I’m 5’11. Size chart accurate.

this is a really nice jacket. I wore fit first time out with a jersey and base layer underneath, felt quite warm in freezing rain. size medium for me gave a bit of room. 5’9″ and 65kg. I could fit a small, it would be race fit. I was surprised with the quality and price, will shop galibier again, they deliver to canada too

This jacket is amazing, perfectly described, rode last winter at 0 degrees with a base layer and jersey and was toasty warm. It’s been used in heavy winter rain and at no point was I cold. On windy rides it’s perfect. It’s so good I’ve had to buy another as my 16 year old nicked mine after borrowing it one day.
