Introducing our 5th generation toe covers, and continuously evolving for better performance. Perfectly tailored for road shoes, these toe covers are a quintessential accessory for cool conditions. At just 1/5 the weight of traditional overshoes, they offer substantial foot protection without the bulk. The windproof design effectively keeps out road spray, ensuring warmth during those brisk spring mornings or chilly autumn evenings.
Whether worn solo or as an additional layer under your overshoe, these toe covers provide versatile protection. Designed with a new-generation elastic construction, they’re easy to put on, lightweight, and efficient in blocking wind. And if the temperature climbs, they’re compact enough to stow away in your jersey pocket.
Features:
- Sleek, contoured design for an optimal fit
- Super-compact; easily fits into a jersey pocket
- Elasticated cuff for easy wear and removal
- Durable ripstop upper
- 2.3mm high-stretch Neoprene base
- Weighs only 47 grams per pair (size M)
- Best suited for road shoes, as the road cleat keeps the fabric elevated
Usage Note: For those with chronically cold feet, pair these toe covers with an overshoe to maximize warmth, even for those with poor circulation. However, remember to care for them as you would any overshoe. Avoid walking on concrete or allowing the covers to touch the ground or cleat to ensure longevity. Adopt a heel-and-cleat “penguin walk” to minimize wear and reduce the risk of slipping.

Bought this ages ago but only got round to using them for the first time today. They are *brilliant*. Temperature was about +6 degrees – I was out for just over three hours and came home with warm feet – not normally the case for me! Covers the bottom two straps on my shoes but leaves the top one free. Does not impede SPD-SL cleats in any way.
I will buy another pair as backup!

Great fit. Made a big difference to my early morning rides in 6 degrees wearing these and my fire feet socks. Always great customer service and amazing quality.

Great covers for colder morning rides. Nice and light and a good fit. Fit neatly in your jersey pocket if you need to remove them mid ride. Wish I’d bought them sooner in the year as my feet are the one part of me that I struggle to keep warm.

Large/XL 43-47 fits perfectly on my 47 road bike shoes.

Just the ticket.
Good quality
Good fit, the size guide is spot on.
Toe covers which do their job.
What more can be said, thanks Galibier.

Nicely made and a significant improvement on my old pair (also Galibier but I bought them years ago). They now have reinforced fronts so they should take a lot longer to wear through. The only slight problem is I have my cleats quite far back and the hole is designed for cleats closer to the toe. Makes the material bunch so it’s a bit harder to clip in, but don’t notice it once you’re going! Great value, especially if they last 4+ years like the last pair!

Very happy with these toe covers. I previously had some basic neoprene ones, but these are so much better. I ordered 2 pairs- one in size small for me and the other in XL for my husband. His are a perfect fit on size 46 shoes, on me they are a little loose and baggy coming up onto my boa fastening but thats because I wear a 37.

Every kit bag needs these, total form and function and definitely a serious contender for the “less is more” category.

2020 version review – very good. I am size 43 and I have medium. They are slightly baggier and longer than another brand I have. The extra length is good, but only just rests right side of s-works upper boa dial. You have to pull them back all the way. If you see the picture of the white shoe that works. So pull back along the sole. Then the clear hole is in the right place. The main material is windproof with a fleecy inside. The band is elastic to hold it in place. I would not want any more material in the windproof section and so it is a good fit for 43. If it was a little too baggy a quick stitch would tighten it. Sole of toe has extra protection. Cleat hole is very slightly forward, but I am 43 and have my cleats as far back as they will go. Well stitched round the clear. All in all they look very robust. Road today in 5 degrees with these and Ardennes socks which was fine. Probably thin enough to fit a pair of overshoes over the top, but I have not tried yet. (Work in very cold weather). Would happily buy another pair. Would recommend.

Very straight forward toe cover, does exactly what you would expect without fuss or issue. Found sizing to be good & fit over the cadence sensor on my shoe which i struggle with on other covers. Very happy returning Galibier customer again.

These are fan-tas-tic.
With the exception of indoor rides on the Turbo, I’ve not taken these off my shoes since purchase. There’s no need to – I simply roll them down to access my shoe straps and then roll them back up when ready to ride.
They cover just the right amount (Large for EU44 Sidi)and the bottoms are very well constructed for occasional walking and foot-down at junctions/lights.
I was planning to use these in conjunction with thick wool cycling socks and overshoes, but it’s currently December and I’ve not needed the overshoes yet, so I’ll hold out for a few more weeks 🙂

These are great value. Fit true to size, with good stretch in material- I’m using MTB shoes (Giro), and it’s not a problem with that wider shape.

Bought size large for 44EU shoe which fitted perfectly, easy to put on and take off. Cycled at 5C temperature in the wet and feet stayed warm and dry throughout. Great product.

Good value and useful. I wear them either alone in autumn, or on day like today (2Deg C) with melting ice on the roads, under some overshoes for added layer of warmth that also kept feet dry when the rest of the pack were complaining! Very handy

As usual for anything I have from Galibier, this is well built and an excellent design. Good for those days when it is not a downpour but wet.
For sizing reference, I ordered medium. I have a size 8US/41EU Giro Terraduro HV (high volume–wide) offroad shoe which I use with SPD pedals. The size is just about right. Probably due to the wider shoe, the cleat opening at the back edge is just clear enough to allow the pedal to engage. It does not snag the pedal when clipping or unclipping but I would prefer if there was a bit more margin. If someone has a similar shoe and size, I would consider going one size up.

Does exactly what they say on the tin but for less than everyone else. Nice range of sizing too, M for my size 8 feet was perfect.

They keep your toes warm and cost £8.90. What more do you need to know? Buy some.

Great quality and perfect for autumn and spring weather when overshoes are going to be overkill. Blocks wind and keeps feet nice and warm on early morning rides and easily removed and put in rear jersey pocket when it warms up. Superb quality and value for money from Galibier and next day delivery. Galibier have become my first choice for kit this year, superior to Castelli and dare I say Rapha! Keep up the good work.

Really good quality covers. I had the old style to-covers, these are much better. Tough fabric, no movement over the shoe, retains the heat, and more importantly, retains the quality of the shoe beneath. Highly recommended!

Had an joint replacement operation on my foot last autumn, leaving it very vulnerable to the cold weather. However, with the use of these toe covers, thick pair of socks and overshoes, I was able to get some miles in with no bother. These covers are a must for any cyclist spring winter and autumn, brilliant. Also, my old pair of faithful Time shoes were looking a bit grotty, these covers hide all the scuffs and marks. Please buy a pair you won’t be disappointed.
