Regale UltraLight Jersey

(5 customer reviews)

£46.88

The Regale is our lightest cycling  jersey for hot conditions.

The goal of the garment was to create the lightest jersey on the market that still offered SPF30 skin protection. The micro perforated fabric properties provides both a cool feeling during your hardest rides and quick dry.
All 3 materials were initially sourced on weight, but out of the 5 samples we created this ensemble to survive a summer of machine washing with honours. At just under 90 grams (Size medium), the Regale is lighter than most mesh jerseys, but still offers full skin coverage.   A full YKK zip gives additional adaptability and confidence as the striking burnt orange design keep you seen and fresh.

The jersey features a deep pocket structure with silicone grips on the top, 1/2 length arms with soft arm grippers and a low-cut collar for maximum hot weather performance.  The jersey uses a dual fabric silicone waist gripper which allows the jersey to be loaded up without it losing shape on the bike.

Used it all summer in high temperatures (34C) and it is excellent, kept me nice and cool. Size L for 184cm and 78kgs.

A lightweight, comfortable jersey that dries very quickly should you accidentally oversee the black cloud ahead due to good conversation and sprinting for town signs. Initially I thought it may be a little sweaty without a baselayer in 30C, but as it turns out i do not notice it. when well fitting, the zip is easy to wind up and down to regulate when you are not moving so fast. Compared to a mesh jersey, it is far more durable, and far less sensitive to staining from, say, mud, which is advantageous given my propensity to accelerate when the asphalt runs out, along with the frequency at which agricultural slurry is seen on provincial Hessen roads.

I rate this jersey only a fraction below my rather more expensive mesh jersey from a certain manufacture that does lots of vouchers on strava, mainly because it has no zip pocket for my ID/FFP2/tenner.

This is my lastest purchase from Galibier and as always I’m over the moon. Super lite summer jersey. Good deep pockets (pockets in the long sleeve Jersey where poor) I am 85kg stocky build and 5.8 in height. I got a large and it fits great, race fit at its finest. Keep up the excellent work ppl.

Bought one of these just before the recent spell of warm weather as a discount provided for first few to purchase. What a top! Quality is what you’d expect of double if not triple the price – I have some Italian versions beginning with C and this stacks up, if not out-performs, at a fraction of the price. Sizing is spot on (Med for 5’9, 75kg, normal build) and the quality oozes. Small touches such as reinforced pocket stitching, zip garage etc. are a wonderful addition, and the fabric is superb. Highly recommended at double the price- but at this price buy as many as you can justify. Only issue is some hot weather to excuse it. Excellent kit!
