For the endurance athlete, our Grand Tour Bib Shorts are crafted to accompany you on your longest rides and create memories without compromising comfort.

Partnering with an expert factory, we leveraged body mapping technology to ensure every inch of these shorts complements the cyclist’s journey. Our focus was simple: maximize comfort, especially for those extended hours in the saddle. The unique EX2.0 chamois is specifically designed for riders clocking over 14 hours a week. It’s thinner, crafted from a high-density, dual memory foam, and finished with a soft, anti-bacterial pad for a seamless fit. The inverted chamois profile, with variable depth and density, caters to the demands of ultra-endurance cycling and dynamic road racing, ensuring minimal friction. Traditional leg length.

These are without doubt the most comfortable bib shorts I’ve ever worn. I’ve just put them to the test on the Way of the Roses coast to coast solo ride from Morecambe to Bridlington; 274km with no chaffing, rubbing or slippage, over the course of 13 hours. The chamois is very well shaped and perfectly padded for long rides, it wicks well and felt dry all day despite a lot of sweating on big hills in 20 degree temperatures. The construction quality is first rate with great feeling fabrics, a nice compression to the thighs, and bib straps that you simply don’t notice.
I’m 180 cm tall, 82 kg and went for the XL and found them to be a perfect fit.

These are the best bibs I own, and I have few pairs of that ‘big’ C brand. The pad is the best I’ve used and these do genuinely feel like a second skin. They are brilliant at wicking away sweat really well and the compression is just right.. I’ll be ordering more next summer.

I’m between sizes as I’m carrying a bit too much timber, particularly around the belly, therefore I went with Large to match my hip measurement to the size chart even though my waist is a few centimetres wider. They were quite tight at first but after a couple of rides they’ve worn in nicely.

As my other half says “you’ve a cute little bum” so these shorts felt like I was working with more. The most comfortable shorts I’ve tried. Don’t bother with any other brands!

First ride out with the Grand Tour Ultra Bib Shorts, 85 miles. The bib shorts are excellent, I would place them in between racing compression and a more relaxed bib short, with a very comfortable chamois. They are slightly shorter than other bib shorts but it is not a problem. I began to annoy The people I was cycling with as I kept telling them how impressed I was with the shorts. I have had the whole range of Rapha gear and these bib shorts are easily as good.

As always with Galibier the quality of the stitching is spot on, and they will last the test of time.

I am 80 Kg and went large… i have slightly larger thighs and I would say I was at the top end of sizing… could possibly try XL ( tempted to get another pair)

There’s simply no point in spending more on big brand bibs. These are superb. Slightly shorter in the leg than some, but that might be because I went to the smaller end of the sizing for me Well done Galibier on another outstanding product.

Well they arrived on Saturday morning and were in action straight away on the 110 mile Dunwich Dynamo that night.
Fantastic pair of shorts, the pad is fantastic, much slimmer than anything else I have but at the same time probably the most comfortable and supportive pad I’ve ridden. Its firmer than most but that works really well.
The soft lycra of the actual shorts is perfect, really comfortable, a good level of compression without feeling tight, and the wide seamless straps are just what I’ve been looking for as you don’t get any ‘cutting’ in on the shoulders like you do with narrower/ seamed bib straps. Nice wide leg grippers are spot on and don’t cut in at all either. Size wize I am 6ft2″, 36 waist and 49″ chest and carrying some weight and the XXL fitted me fine.
These are definitely my new favourite shorts!! Thanks Galibier for keeping my derriere perfectly intact on a Saturday night!
