Introducing the Gino jacket, an embodiment of lightweight efficacy with superior wind protection. Crafted for those cold March winds and brisk May descents, this jacket stands as a beacon of style and function.
Its windproof front panels and lined zip surpass expectations given its lightweight nature, while the high neck and double cuff ensure zero drafts, enhancing warmth and comfort. Three rear pockets paired with a zipped security pocket ensure ample space for your essentials. Notably, the 3M reflective strip at the back complements the vibrant design, enhancing visibility and safety.
In daylight, the 3M reflective front panel exhibits a subtle grey. However, come night, it transforms, glowing silver under lights. To ensure optimal comfort and performance, light and breathable fabric is employed for the arms and rear panels.
Apart from its stunning design that seems to possess magical properties under car headlights, the Gino jacket is also machine washable for convenience.
Features:
- Windproof front panels with an anti-stick zip
- Zip garage to shield the neck from irritation
- Light and breathable fabric on arms and rear panels
- Three stretchable rear pockets
- Zipped security pocket for added storage
- Silicone waistband to secure the jacket in place
- Enhanced durability with double stitching
Sizing Guide: The Gino jacket is tailored to be worn over a light base layer and a short-sleeved jersey. If you have a fuller midsection, consider sizing up for both fit and comfort.

Cracking jacket. Used this in combination with the tourmalet 2 jacket on a recent multi-day trip across Ireland. This jacket was perfect for the windy conditions and when the rain came in the combination of both was perfect. The windproof panels kept my core warm while thinner panels at the arms controlled overheating. With the temp 6-16°C and strong winds i never felt the need to add more layers.

An excellent bit of kit, the windproof panel works great, arms are a little thin which makes it a but niche as a spring to autumn jersey over various weights of base layer… only a slight score down as I’d say the reflective material actually suits dark winter nights. The lighter weight makes it versatile all year but a thin windproof material on arms would be perfect! Overall impressed as usual… I have a lot of galibier kit, my go to brand for sensible kit. I’m a 36 chest, 31 waist and 5’10, 70kg, medium was absolutely spot on.

I’ve been meaning to review this jacket for ages. I got it for Christmas and wore it out in Scotland in January and February for relatively short rides (1-2 hours) in temps close to zero. I had two layers on underneath and was easily warm enough. I thought the sleeve and back material would be thicker, but it’s not a problem. The windproof front is certainly effective. I love the colour and design of this jacket, but most of all, just point a light at it and lights up like a Christmas tree. Sizing – I’m 6’2″, 42″ chest, and 90kg and XL is good – close, but room for layers. Well done Galibier!

Love this jacket. Went out today in a chilly March breeze and was comfortable – and without getting steamy. I’m 6’1″ and a slim 75-80kg, and large is great for me (snug without being restricting, and would accommodate a layer or two).

Wore the Gino Pro Wind for the first time today. I was in two minds whether to use it or not, as there was a strong wind out and it was chilly! I decided to chance it with a base layer….thought I could always turn back if I got too cold. I was pleasantly surprised by just how good this top is, so happy with the purchase. Keeps the cold air out, allows you to cycle hard without over heating, really surprised at how good this top is and it’s super powers!! I got size M, I’m 5’11” and 75 kg and it fits lovely, nice and snug. Another top top quality piece of clothing from Galibier, haven’t been disappointed with anything I have ever bought from Galibier, my go to cycling shop for everything!!!

I live in north-central California, which has mild winters compared to other locales. I typically cycle in 50-degree F (10 C) temps, so this jacket is perfect at the start of my ride– mid-to-high 40s– and stows away in a jersey pocket as the temps rise. I have used it twice and after my second ride I feel it is a welcome part of the cycle wardrobe. I am 5’11” and 165-170 lbs. The large fits perfectly. That means snugly. Workpersonship seems good. I am happy with the purchase and will look to buy more stuff from Galibier.

Large is a good fit for my 40′ chest 34′ waist and it packs down small.
Arms shoulders and neck get cold on chillier winter days and I find other designs more useful. To be fair, it is described as a spring/autumn garment.

Got this in December and worn during a couple of cold rides-around zero temperature. Wore with long sleeve base layer and felt really good.
XXL fits great for me 95 kg 6ft
Another Quality item thanks Galibier

Wore this jacket both yesterday and today with temperatures no more than a couple of degrees. Paired with just a long sleeve base layer this was more than adequate for the job, fit and functionality is superb along with the added reflective panels to increase visibility during these grey days. As ever, top marks.

Originally purchased the Roubaix jersey but was notified it had sold out in my size, so was promptly offered a refund or this as a free upgrade. Five stars for customer service!
On inspection, it compares favourably to other premium brand, 3 season, intermediate jerseys but at a fraction of the cost.
I wore for the first time yesterday on a 70k ride with temperatures hovering around freezing, teamed with a base layer and the Izoard Gilet (another 5 star garment). The Gilet was stowed away after 20k and this jersey/ jacket performed brilliantly for the duration. I was even quizzed about the brand at my café stop by Cheshire’s ubiquitous Rapha / Assos devotees. 🙂

Got this jacket recently and have worn it on three spins, all of which were mixed windy days. Have to say it is one of the best pieces of kit I have. Myles recommended light base layer for this time of year and he was totally right. Never overheated or got cold. Would highly recommend this jacket for those in between type of days. If you’re thinking about getting one, do it you won’t be sorry.

Have the previous generation of this jacket and it’s been my go too over the past months in the uncertain conditions we have had in Ireland. It might seem light but does a great job at keeping your core warm in anything from 8 – 14 degrees any warmer and you might start to over heat. Wind proof front does a great job holding out the chill. Nice detail around the cuffs and would recommend to all. Size large for me 83kg, 38 chest and it’s a nice snug fit.

This is my third jacket from Galibier CC. I bought this one to give me options between full winter wear and short sleeves. I have now been wearing it for 2 weeks in the cool mornings. It is absolutely great. Really comfortable and nice looking in the red. I am 173cm weighing 72kg. Initially I bought the medium but it was just a bit skin tight. Swapped with usual efficiency for a large. A bargain at £48.

I destroyed a bio racer combi jacket at £110 in a nasty crash and wasn’t prepared to spend that much on a replacement so I ordered this one. When it arrived in October I did not have the confidence to wear it as it is very thin. It stayed in wardrobe until last week when I used it in temperatures of between 4 deg to 8 deg. Underneath I had a base layer which is combination of life and merino wool. The combination was fantastic. Warm but no overheating. Jacket looks the dogs. Lots of admiring comments. Worth every penny.

I bought the red one of this recently, using it predominantly as a long sleeve jersey, it’s great! A gilet type material around the core, jersey on the arms. I’m 95kg, 44inch chest and 34/36inch waist, XXL is a great fit. Can’t recommend it enough!

I have been searching for the elusive jacket/jersey to cover all eventualities. In discovering the hidden gem of glibber.cc my quest is no more. Having been wearing the Gino jacket since Nov 2018 I have no complaints. If its chilly then a merino base layer will suffice. On warmer days a vest is enough and with the full length zip you can unzip when the sun eventually decides to show! The sizing is true and it is my go to jacket/jersey all year round. Will definitely be purchasing the alternative colour. If you don’t own any galibier clothing, do you even cycle…

I have been using this jacket through February, March and now into April and it has proved it’s worth. My only dilemma has been long sleeve or short sleeve base layer? I was out this morning – 10C and a stiff NE breeze – perfect with a s/s base. It’s a good close fit, neither flappy nor restrictive – go with the sizing chart.
Another good piece of Galibier kit.

I’ve worn this as a jersey a couple of times over a base layer and as a jacket over a jersey a few times too. It’s a great fit either way, really does the job at keeping the wind out and it looks cracking.

Great jacket, great for those ‘in-between temperature’ days. On my 55 KM commute I start in chilly weather and arrive in 15 C. This jacket holds up the whole ride. Looks great too.
Ordered an L at 182 cm and 84 KG, good snug fit.

Super nice jacket. Great build quality, great look. I’m consistently super happy with Galibier gear and want to say well done again! The only downside for me is that I was expecting a fit similar to the Mistral Jacket and despite sizing up to an XL it turned out that the sleeves have a different length and are too short (I would say a good 4-5cm) for my super long arms (I’m 6’4″).
I don’t really want to return it as the rest is perfect (especially around the chest, shoulders and waist), so I’ll have to figure out something.

Love this jacket.brilliant fit,if it said assos or rapha on the label it would be twice the price.northern Irelands hidden gem.

Five stars excellent jersey. Great for long rides with a chance of light rain and eliminates the need for the bulk of arm warmers. Torso doesn’t allow a hint of wind through on descents. Double cuff a nice touch and design. Three jerseys in one.

Gino Light Wind jacket is exactly what I was after, and was delivered very promptly, thank you. I was looking at winter jackets, but after many reviews claiming that they got too warm above about 12C, and knowing that I rarely get that cold on a ride, I decided to go for something lighter that would see much more action in spring, autumn and cooler summer days, while being able to handle the milder winter outings with a couple of underlayers. This fit the bill perfectly. Two rides in, one dry ride in about 5C with two layers beneath and a second at 6C but with sporadic rain showers with just one baselayer beneath, and the jacket was a consistently even temperature. Up hills, I didn’t need to lower the zip to cool down, and descents were fine. Rain showers didn’t get through, but if its raining at the start of your ride take a waterproof. Washes well so far and looks great. Being 5’9″, 35″ waist, 42″ chest I went for the XL, which was the right size: snug, streamlined & with plenty of movement.

This is a high quality, durable windproof jacket which has the ability to be worn as a winter top with a merino base layer. It is also very smart and attracts looks and comments of admiration from my cycling friends. Can repel a light shower and even worn in quite heavy rain I have not felt chilled. Very aero….no flappy bits!

Currently my go to cycling top. Robust enough to keep out a chill but light enough not to overheat. Ticks all the boxes. Perfect 3 season top with an under layer. Some nice design features on this, very highly recommended.
Same old Galibier, always on the mark.
