Worn the Grand Tour glasses a few times now, brilliant in bright low winter sun, the lenses adapt in the blink of an eye. Waited until today to review them so I could test them on a night time spin. They did not disappoint. Perfect vision in the dark and protection from the glare of other riders’ rear lights and lights of oncoming vehicles
Very light and comfortable, you barely notice you’re wearing them, and don’t have to keep adjusting them on the move as I do with my other glasses. Another great quality Galibier product, and probably about a half or even a third of the price of some branded glasses. How do they do it?

As a cyclist who wears contact lenses and is susceptible to optical migraines, sunglasses play an important part in my rides. The Grand Tour sunglasses are the best I have worn. The fit is spot on, light and unobtrusive with the rubber nose and ear pieces holding them securely in place. As they are frameless you have the feeling you are not wearing glasses at all; just that you vision is taken care of. Wearing them for the first time on a 100 km ride on a sunny and cloudy day the lenses provided the optimum amount of light for all the shade and sunlight I was riding in. This was especially noticeable, and welcome, when moving from bright sun into dappled shade from trees where I was immediately able to see the ground in front me and so avoid the potholes.
The sunglasses are quite simply excellent, and will be indispensable during longer rides moving into Autumn and Winter. Highly recommended.

I was a bit dubious about buying cycling specific sunnies but after doing a lot of looking bought the black with red plasma. They arrived super fast and I’m so happy with them. They’re so light it’s like you’re not wearing anything and because the nose piece holds them away from the face the ventilation is fantastic; plus you’re face stays cooler too! Bonus! The tint level is perfect too, not too dark for cloudy days and enough for when it’s sunny. I thought about the photo chromatic lense but they will only be reactive for a about 3 years so went for the red plasma as I plan on having these for years to come. A fantastic product from a great company!

I used to have another pair where I could change the lenses depending on the weather conditions. For some reasons and after a few minutes riding, these would stress my left eye so much that it became nearly impossible to wear these anymore. I looked for a set at a reasonable price, bought a pair and I could not be happier with my purchase. It gives me the right amount of darkening and it does without me noticing too much. I like the style, they are comfortable, very happy with my purchase.

Since I brought these glasses about 6 months ago, the best thing I can say about them is I do not notice them when wearing them. Super comfortable with no rims to obscure the view it just works great. Also they are strong enough to survive the life in of cycling glasses. I would recommend them.
