This Packable Jacket is a super Lightweight packable top layer.

Essential protection without any added bulk, making it the go-to choice for riders conscious about weight. Breathable enough to wear all ride or just take from the back pocket to fend of a shower, the ultralight fabric effectively wicks away body moisture ensuring you stay warm in any weather condition. This advanced fabric also dries quickly between showers.

This high-performing, 4-season garment is tailored for a close fit, eliminating excess fabric that could slow you down. Its three-piece sleeve design ensures a sleek fit, complemented by taped seams throughout, double-stitched for durability. Protect yourself from the elements with a storm-proof zip, high collar, and wind guard behind the zip. A softer cotton material on the collar prevents any discomfort on the neck.  For added safety, reflective tape on the back of the sleeves increases visibility in low-light conditions.A high-stretch cuff section simplifies the process of removing gloves and provides an expandable section on each side at the back. This offers relief to the waist, especially when you have extra items in your jersey pockets.

Lovely jacket that packs down to about the size of a decent mug. I’m 6ft2 and 80kg and the L is good for me.

I bought a Tempest pro just before I went on holiday to Tenerife and brought it along with me, over there I used it 3 times, the first 2 were coming down off Teide, both times it was dry but extremely cold, 8c the first day and 3c the next. while I’d rather have had my Mistral or Mistral pro the Tempest did a great job keeping the wind chill at bay on what is a very long descent with no real area to pedal to warm up. The 3rd time I had to use it was on the TF28 coming back towards Granidilla, it was 13c and showery, the jacket kept me warm and dry with just a baselayer and short sleeved jersey on and no overheating on the climbing sections. I’m delighted with it, it’ll be in my pocket a lot of times over the Spring/Summer/Autumn. I sized up one from my usual L in Mistral, just so I can use it over layers. A great piece of kit once again from Galibier.
