Our Merino Short Sleeve T is an all-surface shirt styled for local trails, living and long trips.

For single day spins or extended multi-day adventures, our Wool T is a versatile, easy-wear shirt for every occasion.  With a more relaxed fit, the shirt can be worn on its own or to keep you smooth on the trails.

We chose to make our shirts from two SportWool blends to enhance the properties of the refined merino wool.  The natural antibacterial and odour resistant properties are reinforced with re-cycled Nylon or Polyester to provide strength and stability. Cut slightly longer at the back, this T is an easy choice – whether it’s a multi-day tour or just a short ride to the pub. Thanks to the sport specific material blend, the shirt barely absorbs odours – so you smell better and look smoother for longer.

Black and Navy Tee is constructed from a New Zealand 50% Merino wool mixed with 50% Recycled Polyester to produce a garment ideal for multi-day adventures where durability is a major factor. This is our most popular blend for riding and living.

The Army Green shirt is made from super fine 80% Merino wool  with  20% Recycled Nylon added to improve the washing and ease of wear. This shirt is light, soft and super high wicking.

Packed in a Bio-degradable, reusable envelope. Reflective logo print on left sleeve.

The average micron of human hair is between 50 to 100 micron. Merino wool is generally less than 22 micron, which shows just how soft this premium wool fibre is.

Care:

Washing wool is easy. Wool is naturally stain resistant, odour resistant and also crease resistant, so actually requires less washing. This means that caring for wool is both easy and gentle on the planet. But when it is time to wash wool clothes, you can either wash them in a washing machine (usually gentle action at 30°C) BUT any wool garment’s life cycle will be extended with hand washing.

Really nice and comfortable, will probably be buying another colour for off bike wear

Bought two of the green 80/20 mix for climbing. Have been wearing non stop on trip to France. Warm or cold these perform great staying dry and odour-free. They wash well. Might even buy a 3rd!!

I bought a couple of these T-shirts when launched and they have quickly become favourites. I got the green (80% merino 20% nylon) and they are super comfortable, don’t get smelly and look good on. Perfect for work and play.

  4. Chris Allen (verified owner)

Very happy with the cut of this shirt, loose fit without being baggy. Just right.
I test wore it for three days in a row to see what merino’s odour handling qualities are like – no complaints from people sitting beside me!

Material seems pretty similar quality to the same kind of t-shirt I own from the vastly more expensive brand beginning with an R. The sizing is consistent with other Galibier clothing – good casual fit for the M for a 39 inch chest. Only slight quibble is with the cut of the sleeves which baloon out a bit, Otherwise really can’t complain re: quality/price ratio.
